Below are the three main benefit calculators that UK citizens can use to check they’re claiming the correct benefits and welfare. Bare in mind that if you are under 18, retired or are a student these calculators may give you incorrect information.

PIP table of activities, descriptors & points

PIP points table is to be used as a guide only. Note that children usually claim DLA when under the age of 16 and PIP when 16+. 

Always seek specialist advice and support from charities such as Citizens Advice when claiming and filling out DLA1 or PIP1 forms.

8-11 points = standard rate

12+ points = enhanced rate
